We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Software Licensing Specialist to join our team in Noida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire software licensing lifecycle, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and providing support to internal teams. You will collaborate closely with procurement, legal, and IT departments to ensure effective license management and minimize risks associated with software usage. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a secure and cost-effective software environment for VAYUZ Technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the complete software licensing lifecycle, from procurement to retirement, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and internal policies.

- Negotiate software licensing agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for the organization.

- Conduct regular software audits to identify compliance gaps and potential risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of software licenses, entitlements, and usage data in a centralized repository.

- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on software licensing matters, including usage rights, restrictions, and best practices.

- Optimize software license utilization to minimize costs and maximize the value of software investments.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in software licensing models, advising management on potential impacts and opportunities.

- Develop and implement software licensing policies and procedures to ensure consistent and compliant practices across the organization.

- Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure software licenses are aligned with security requirements and vulnerability management processes.

- Generate reports and dashboards to track software license compliance, usage, and cost savings for management review.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to manage software licensing lifecycles, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.

- Proven expertise in negotiating software licensing agreements with vendors and optimizing licensing costs.

- Strong understanding of software licensing models, terms, and conditions, including perpetual, subscription, and cloud-based licenses.

- Proficiency in conducting software audits and identifying compliance gaps.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to track software license compliance and cost savings.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with software asset management (SAM) tools and technologies.
