About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Varicent ICM Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Varicent ICM platform, with a proven track record of developing and implementing complex incentive compensation solutions. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our ICM systems, ensuring they meet the business needs of our Life Insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities :

- Development & Implementation : Lead the design, development, and implementation of Varicent ICM solutions, including rule sets, calculations, reports, and workflows.

- System Maintenance & Optimization : Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Varicent ICM applications to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.

- Data Management : Manage data integration, ETL processes, and data validation within the Varicent ICM environment.

- Functional Expertise : Apply strong functional knowledge of agency commissions management, including hierarchy structures and commission calculations specific to the Life Insurance domain.

- Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver effective solutions.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

- Cloud Migration : Actively participate in and contribute to projects involving the migration of our ICM solutions to the Varicent ICM Cloud platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Varicent ICM Experience : A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience as a developer with the Varicent ICM (formerly IBM Cognos ICM) product.

- ICM Development Expertise : Proven expertise in the end-to-end development life cycle of Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) systems.

- Life Insurance Domain Knowledge : Strong functional knowledge of agency commissions management within the Life Insurance industry, including an understanding of agent hierarchies, commission structures, and regulatory requirements.

- Varicent ICM Cloud : Prior experience with Varicent ICM Cloud migration projects is a significant advantage.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

- Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
