About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.

Youll play a key role in building and maintaining robust deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our web applications.

This is a hands-on role where youll drive automation, reliability, scalability, and security across our systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for React and Django applications.

- Manage and provision scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (or similar platforms).

- Automate infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.

- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.

- Set up and maintain NGINX, Gunicorn, and other services to serve Django apps reliably.

- Monitor performance and ensure availability of production environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK stack.

- Collaborate with developers to streamline builds, tests, and deployments.

- Handle backup, logging, alerting, and incident response processes.

- Apply security best practices across systems and deployments.

Must-Have Skills :

- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Solid experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ECS/EKS, etc.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.

- Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).

- Experience with React and Django deployment workflows.

- Familiarity with web servers like NGINX, Gunicorn, and load balancers.

- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).

- Experience with Git, version control, and branching strategies.

- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and infrastructure monitoring.

Good to Have :

- Experience managing PostgreSQL, Redis, and other services used with Django.

- Knowledge of serverless components (e., AWS Lambda, CloudFront, SQS).

- Exposure to secrets management (e., AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).

- AWS/GCP certification or Kubernetes certification is a plus.

- Automation/testing tools for full-stack applications.

- Exposure to other frameworks/languages (Node.js, Go, etc.

Certification : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar
