Description :
- Architect and implement scalable, resilient backend systems using Python (Django/FastAPI) and Golang.
- Design and manage data pipelines and APIs to support high-throughput geospatial and carbon data processing.
- Lead system and database design for real-time and batch applications.
- Integrate cloud-native services (AWS) for compute, storage, and orchestration.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and field teams to deliver impactful features end-to-end.
- Drive performance optimisation, observability, and CI/CD improvements.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of full-stack or backend development experience.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, system design, and data modelling.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, and web frameworks like Django and FastAPI.
- Experience with AWS (S3 EC2 RDS, Lambda, etc.) and DevOps best practices.
- Deep understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Proven ability to handle large-scale, data-intensive systems in production.
Bonus Points If You Have :
- Experience with geospatial data processing (GDAL, rasterio, GeoJSON, etc.).
- Familiarity with real-time stream processing (Kafka, Redis Streams).
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) is a plus.
- Passion for climate, agriculture, or sustainability domains.
