Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Build, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices to support enterprise banking applications.

- Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.

- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to ensure efficient data processing.

- Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable distributed systems and backend services.

- Integrate applications with API gateways, third-party services, enterprise systems, and internal banking platforms.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

- Develop event-driven applications and asynchronous processing workflows using Apache Kafka.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated build, testing, deployment, and release management.

- Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services.

- Implement application monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization practices to ensure system reliability.

- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze system bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements in application performance and availability.

- Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Follow Agile development methodologies, secure coding standards, code review practices, and banking industry compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for backend application development.

- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and GraphQL services.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, API design, and enterprise application development.

- Experience implementing authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSO.

- Practical experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and application deployment practices.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud services.

- Understanding of API gateway integrations, application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
