Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our cloud platform strategy on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in OCI services, cloud security, compliance, and enterprise-scale platform operations. This role is pivotal in shaping the cloud architecture roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency across business units.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of OCI-based cloud solutions, including multi-region, multi-tenant, and hybrid cloud architectures.

- Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks using OCI Guardrails, Resource Manager, and Policy-as-Code to ensure compliance, security, and operational consistency.

- Architect and implement secure, high-performance networking solutions using OCI Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Load Balancers, DNS, and Service Gateways.

- Design and deploy centralized monitoring, logging, and observability platforms using OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Events services, integrated with SIEM and DevOps tools.

- Collaborate with security, compliance, and platform teams to implement zero-trust principles, encryption, identity management (IAM), and data protection across cloud environments.

- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, and CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable, auditable, and automated deployments.

- Partner with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, DevOps, application architects, and security architects, to align technical designs with business objectives.

- Mentor and guide junior cloud architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and best practices.

- Provide technical leadership in cloud migration, modernization, and platform optimization initiatives.

- Represent the cloud architecture function in executive and technical forums, articulating complex designs clearly and persuasively.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of progressive experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Proven expertise in OCI core services : Compute, Networking (VCN, Security Lists, Route Tables), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Object Storage, Block Volumes, and Database services.

- In-depth knowledge of OCI security features, including Vault, Secrets Manager, and Data Safe.

- Strong experience with OCI Guardrails, Policy-as-Code, and automated compliance enforcement.

- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager) and CI/CD integration.

- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and observability tools (e.g., OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Events) and integration with third-party platforms.

- Experience in designing and managing multi-region, high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity architectures on OCI.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional : Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security, or equivalent are highly preferred.
