Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced SoC Subsystem Validation Engineer with strong expertise in CPU/GPU, power/thermal performance analysis, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on lab experience, exposure to Android and Linux platforms, and a strong background in debugging and validation methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform validation of SoC subsystems (CPU/GPU/Interconnect/Memory/Peripherals).
- Analyze and optimize power and thermal performance across different workloads.
- Develop and execute automation scripts to streamline validation and reporting.
- Work with lab tools and instrumentation for measurements, data capture, and debugging.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to root-cause performance and functional issues.
- Validate SoC performance and stability on Android and Linux platforms.
- Generate detailed test reports, document findings, and provide improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong experience in SoC subsystem validation (CPU/GPU focus preferred).
- Hands-on expertise in power and thermal measurement and analysis.
- Proficiency in automation tools/scripting (Python/Perl/Shell or similar).
- Lab tools exposure : oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal measurement tools, debuggers.
- Experience with Android and Linux platforms for validation and debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have :
- Knowledge of SoC architecture, performance counters, and profiling.
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks for validation automation.
- Familiarity with GPU/CPU benchmarking tools and performance workloads.
