Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager with proven experience in delivering AI-led digital transformation projects in Indias public sector and PSU ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of AI/Gen AI, cloud engineering, and software engineering practices with exceptional stakeholder management skills to successfully steer engagements through the unique complexities of the government/PSU environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Delivery & Governance :
Stakeholder Management :
- Act as the primary client interface for PSU stakeholders, managing C-level relationships, IT leadership, and functional business users.
- Navigate internal bureaucratic processes, align diverse stakeholder interests, and drive consensus in environments with multiple decision layers.
- Handle sensitive political, cultural, and interpersonal dynamics with tact.
Technical Oversight :
- Provide delivery oversight across AI/Gen AI model development, cloud-native deployments, and software engineering.
Risk & Issue Management :
- Anticipate project risks (technical, political, or operational) and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Address delivery bottlenecks, manage conflicts between client and internal teams, and keep execution on track.
Team Leadership & Growth :
- Lead cross-functional teams of AI engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and business analysts.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Proven success managing large-scale AI/analytics/cloud projects for PSUs and government agencies in India.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate procurement processes, compliance frameworks, and public sector governance models.
- Understanding of AI/Gen AI technologies, including model development, deployment, and operationalization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and enterprise software engineering principles.
- Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and residency regulations relevant to PSU/Govt projects.
- Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple stakeholders in hierarchical setups.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, especially in government/PSU contexts.
- Ability to command respect, influence decision-making, and manage escalations with diplomacy.
- Strong program management, budgeting, and vendor management experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel and spend time onsite with PSU/government clients as required.
