Job Title : Geospatial Data Analyst

Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Geospatial Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze spatial data to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will work with GIS tools, remote sensing data, and spatial databases to generate actionable insights across various domains such as urban planning, environmental monitoring, logistics, or infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collect, clean, and manage geospatial datasets from multiple sources (satellite imagery, GPS, LiDAR, etc.)

- Perform spatial analysis using GIS tools to identify patterns, trends, and relationships

- Develop maps, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders

- Work with raster and vector data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefile, GPKG, etc.)

- Conduct geospatial modeling and statistical analysis

- Automate workflows using scripting languages like Python

- Integrate geospatial data with databases and APIs

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, planning)

- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's in Geoinformatics, Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field

- Strong experience with GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS

- Proficiency in Python (libraries like GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL)

- Experience with spatial databases like PostGIS

- Knowledge of coordinate systems and projections

- Familiarity with remote sensing concepts and satellite imagery

- Experience handling large geospatial datasets (tiling, clipping, reprojection)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
