Job Summary :

The V&V Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software Validation & Verification (V&V) programs within defined scope, cost, and schedule constraints. This role ensures alignment with organizational business objectives, manages cross-functional teams, and drives Agile execution to deliver high-quality, compliant, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain integrated V&V program plans, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.

- Track and control program execution to ensure adherence to scope, budget, quality, and timelines.

- Ensure V&V activities align with product lifecycle, regulatory, and quality standards.

- Prepare and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost control and financial compliance.

- Identify and implement cost optimization and efficiency opportunities.

- Create detailed delivery schedules and manage progress against baseline plans.

- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and constraints affecting delivery.

- Implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule slippage and delivery risks.

- Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) across V&V and engineering teams.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Drive continuous improvement, velocity optimization, and predictable delivery.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, risks, issues, and escalations.

- Prepare and present executive-level dashboards, metrics, and progress reports.

- Ensure transparency and alignment across engineering, quality, product, and leadership teams.

- Identify, assess, and manage program risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies.

- Drive timely resolution of blockers impacting scope, cost, quality, or schedule.

- Maintain risk registers and ensure proactive mitigation planning.

Required Qualifications :

- MBA and/or PMP certification preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in software program or project management.

- Strong understanding of software V&V processes, quality frameworks, and delivery governance.

- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex software programs with multiple dependencies.

- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and tools (JIRA, Rally, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
