Role Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Functional Test Engineer with strong experience in Healthcare Payer applications and TriZetto FACETS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional and integration testing, along with automation expertise using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or Selenium. The role requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of healthcare payer workflows, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze BRDs, Functional Requirement Specifications, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria to understand business and testing requirements.

- Prepare comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Requirement Traceability Matrices.

- Execute Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End, and UAT testing.

- Validate healthcare payer workflows across Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Benefits, Member, and Provider functions.

- Perform hands-on testing of TriZetto FACETS applications and associated integrations.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or Selenium.

- Build reusable automation components using best practices such as Page Object Model (POM).

- Automate regression and end-to-end UI scenarios across supported browsers.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous execution.

- Analyze Playwright reports, traces, screenshots, and automation results to identify failures and improve test-suite stability.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger.

- Perform SQL/database validation to ensure backend data accuracy and integrity.

- Identify, log, track, retest, and close defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability, risks, dependencies, and coverage.

- Support business users during UAT and assist with defect resolution.

- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates for stakeholders.

- Ensure appropriate test coverage and traceability against business requirements.
