Role Overview :
Useready is looking for a Senior Lead Data Engineer to join our team.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role that combines deep technical engineering with strategic consulting.
You will not just be building pipelines; you will be a "thought partner" for some of the worlds biggest brands, helping them leverage the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to solve complex marketing and business challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Architecture: Collaborate with Google Engineers (Googlers) to architect massive-scale, resilient, and maintainable solutions across GCP, and occasionally AWS/Azure.
- Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and test applications for data visualization, routing, and cleaning within marketing analytics pipelines.
- Strategic Implementation: Lead the setup of server-side Google Tag Manager (sGTM) projects, establishing best practices, testing new use cases, and creating documentation.
- Consultative Communication: Act as a technical advisor, translating complex engineering concepts into actionable insights for executive stakeholders and marketing teams.
- Automation & DevOps: Drive efficiencies using Terraform for infrastructure automation and lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions to scale team capabilities.
- Monitoring: Develop robust monitoring strategies for cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure data purity and system health.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Education: B./B.Tech or M./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 611 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Full Stack Development (with at least 4-5 years focused on the following stack).
- Core Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google BigQuery.
- Marketing Analytics: Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to deliver high-quality, creative solutions for complex data problems on tight schedules
