Every webpage/landing page exists for a purpose. For example, while an auto company would want visitors to get the information about their products on their websites and book the test rides, an e-commerce firms macro goals would be final purchases (with micro goals of increasing product page views, add-to-carts, etc). These desired actions/goals are called conversions. Our endeavor as CRO specialists is to improve these conversion rates.
Companies burn a lot of money in digital marketing activities to get website traffic because the sites are not optimized for conversions. Hence CRO directly impacts the return on investments for the companies.
When Does ACRO specialist Come Into The Picture :
- Our journey starts when the digital property (website/app) is already live and attracting decent traffic
- The purpose is not to completely redesign the website/app, but slowly improve the elements on them to improve the conversion rates
As ACRO specialist You Will :
- Directly work with the enterprise clients to improve the conversion rates on their digital properties
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of the CRO program
- Educate the client and consciously inculcate the culture of experimentation in the client ecosystem
Your Daily Routine Will Look Like This :
- Analyze the websites/applications (both heuristics as well as data) to find out the areas of improvement and thereby the relevant metrics that are in line with the business goals
- Build a hypothesis on what changes on the website will lead to an improvement in the metric decided in the step above
- Design the mock-ups that visualise the improved user experience
- Pitch your ideas to the client and get their approval on the experiments to conduct
- Test those changes by conducting A/B tests to see if your hypotheses succeed
- Communicate the progress of the tests to the client
