Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering initiatives across cloud and on-premise environments.

- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Business Analysts to translate high-level requirements into clear technical deliverables.

- Act as a technical liaison- facilitating conversations between business stakeholders and engineering teams.

- Oversee architecture reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.

- Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and privacy standards, especially in regulated domains like pharma.

- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; develop mitigation plans.

- Track KPIs and success metrics to ensure project outcomes align with business objectives.

- Collaborate with QA, DataOps, and cloud teams to maintain quality and delivery SLAs.

Requirements :

- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain is highly preferred.

- 7- 8 years of total experience with good experience in a technical lead/project management or engineering leadership role.

- Strong understanding of data engineering workflows, including ETL/ELT, data lakes, warehousing, and real time streaming.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (especially AWS) and services such as S3 Glue, Lambda, or similar tools like GenAI.

- Familiarity with modern data stack tools like Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.

- Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and cross-team coordination skills.

- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
