POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking an AWS-focused Python Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native platform solutions. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who combines strong software development expertise with deep hands-on experience across AWS services, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.

You will work closely with development, DevOps, and platform teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures. The ideal candidate is self-driven, innovative, and passionate about solving complex technical challenges using AWS, Python, and modern automation frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITES :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available architectures on AWS.

- Develop cloud-native applications, automation scripts, and platform components using Python.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Integrate AWS services with internal applications and third-party systems.

- Implement best practices for cloud security, identity management, encryption, networking, and governance.

- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and related services.

- Optimize application and infrastructure performance across distributed environments.

- Implement monitoring, observability, and logging solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

- Write technical documentation and present architectural recommendations to stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS :

- Proven hands-on experience building applications and automation solutions using Python.

- Strong expertise in AWS architecture and services, including (but not limited to) :

1. EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53,

2. KMS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Secrets Manager.

- Experience designing secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems using AWS best practices.

- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (mandatory) or AWS CloudFormation.

- Deep knowledge of Docker containers and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes).

- Experience working with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stack.

- Familiarity with Linux environments (Ubuntu/RedHat) from a development and operational perspective.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB (MongoDB optional).

- Security & Best Practices

a) Strong understanding of AWS IAM, encryption (KMS), network security, and compliance frameworks.

b) Experience implementing guardrails, security controls, and automated policy checks.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS :

- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.

- Experience working with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
