Unloadbox - Mongo Database Administrator

Position Summary :

- Experience on MongoDB database installation, configuration and management on AWS EC2.

- Knowledge of routine Backup and point in time recovery.

- User and role management

- Experience on mongo replication and sharding

- Performance tuning, database optimization and troubleshooting.

- Good knowledge of Linux.

- Knowledge of mongo database upgradation and migration

- Understanding of JSON or mongo script.

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Masters degree is a plus (but not mandatory).

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) :

- MongoDB Certified DBA Associate/Professional

- Linux or Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Database specialties)

Soft Skills :

- Ability to work in 24x7 support environments (on-call rotation).

- Good communication skills to coordinate with developers, DevOps, and management.

- Strong documentation skills (for SOPs, architecture diagrams, migration guides).

- Analytical mindset for capacity planning & system design.
