Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4- 5 years of experience in manual and automated software testing, with a proven track record of leading QA initiatives. This role involves guiding the QA process, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.


Responsibilities :


- Develop, implement, and manage test cases, test plans, and testing strategies to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.


- Lead defect identification, reporting, and tracking processes, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the development team.


- Collaborate with developers to ensure the software is designed with testing in mind and support the development of testable code.


- Communicate test results, progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders and management.


- Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews, and provide QA insights to improve product quality from the start.


- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and tools to enhance team efficiency.


- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing.


- Oversee and, if needed, contribute to the automation of test scripts to enhance the QA process.


Requirements :


- 4- 8 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.


- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and QA best practices.


- Proficiency in various testing techniques, including functional, regression, and integration testing.


- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e. g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.


- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.


- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.


- Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.


- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies is a plus.


- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
