Role Overview :

As an Umbraco .NET Developer, you will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for designing and implementing complex web applications within the Umbraco CMS framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, front-end designers, and client stakeholders, to translate business requirements into high-quality, maintainable code. Your work will directly influence the performance, security, and scalability of client-facing digital platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users while maintaining architectural integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop custom Umbraco solutions, including document types, templates, and complex data structures, to meet specific client content management needs.

- Integrate Umbraco with third-party APIs, CRM systems, and external databases to create unified digital experiences for our clients.

- Optimize application performance and security by implementing best practices in .NET development and Umbraco configuration.

- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct rigorous testing and debugging, ensuring the delivery of stable and error-free software.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate long-term support and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in developing enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#.

- Advanced proficiency in Umbraco CMS architecture, including custom package development, surface controllers, and API extensions.

- Strong command of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to ensure seamless integration with back-end services.

- Proven ability to manage SQL Server databases, including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.

- Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline, proactive communication, and effective time management.

- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on the Microsoft technology stack.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
