Umbraco Developer - .Net/C#

Job Role/Title : Umbraco Developer

Experience : 8 to 10 years

Location : Chennai

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Umbraco Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MVC, C#, and Umbraco CMS, along with a strong grasp of Microsoft web development technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications using the Umbraco platform, implementing custom features, and ensuring overall application performance and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Umbraco CMS, ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies.

- Customize and extend Umbraco CMS as per client requirements and functional specifications.

- Implement security patches and updates to Umbraco applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality webolutions.

- Ensure responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) for managing codebase and deployments.

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.

- Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices, especially new versions and features of Umbraco CMS.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and MVC architecture.

- Proven experience developing with Umbraco CMS, including implementation of updates and patches.

- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery.

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework.

- Familiarity with code repositories and version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.

- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.

- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of multiple versions of Umbraco (v7, v8, v10+).

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
