Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled UKG Functional Tester with extensive experience in testing end-to-end UKG (Kronos) applications, including Timekeeping, Activity, Device/Clock Management, WIM/Boomi Integrations, People Editor, Payroll, and Scheduling.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional testing, scenario creation, system validation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a seamless and high-quality workforce management system.


Key Responsibilities :


UKG Functional Testing :


Perform end-to-end functional testing across various UKG modules including :


- Kronos Timekeeping


- Activity Management


- Device (Clock) Management


- Admin/Setup


- WIM or Boomi Integrations


- People Editor


- Payroll


- Scheduling Applications


Validate business processes, workflows, and configurations within UKG using functional scenarios.


Ensure accuracy and compliance of timekeeping, employee data, scheduling rules, accruals, and payroll outputs.


Test Planning & Execution :


- Analyze functional requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.


- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT test cycles.


- Identify, document, and track defects using test management or defect-tracking tools.


- Partner with technical teams to validate integration points and data accuracy for WIM/Boomi-based interfaces.


Collaboration & Communication :


- Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and development teams to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.


- Participate in sprint reviews, requirement walkthroughs, and defect triage meetings.


- Provide detailed daily/weekly test status reports to stakeholders.


System Validation & Documentation :


- Validate timecards, schedules, payroll calculations, accrual generation, and compliance rules.


- Test employee master data updates, configurations, and role-based access controls.


- Maintain comprehensive documentation including test cases, test results, and issue logs.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing of UKG/Kronos applications.


Strong understanding of UKG modules such as :


- Timekeeping


- Activity Management


- Device/Clock Management


- People Editor


- Payroll


- Scheduling


- Admin (Setup)


- Experience with integration testing, preferably using WIM (Workforce Integration Manager) or Boomi.


- Ability to create detailed test cases and execute complex end-to-end scenarios.


- Good understanding of workforce management, payroll processes, attendance rules, and scheduling logic.


- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.


- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Nice-to-Have Skills :


- Experience with UKG Dimensions.


- Knowledge of HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management functional processes.


- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks for UKG (optional).


- Agile/Scrum environment experience
