About the Role :

We are looking for a UI/UX Engineer with 5+ years of experience who can bridge the gap between user experience design and front-end engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UI/UX design, hands-on front-end development, and experience designing or building AI/GenAI-powered products and experiences. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to transform complex workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build intuitive, responsive, and high-quality web/mobile user experiences.

- Translate user requirements, product flows, and wireframes into production-ready interfaces.

- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, and high-fidelity UI designs.

- Develop front-end interfaces using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js or equivalent.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, AI/ML teams, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Design UX patterns for AI-powered features, including AI assistants, chat interfaces, recommendations, automation, copilots, agentic workflows, and AI-generated outputs.

- Convert complex AI/ML functionality into simple and understandable user experiences.

- Build reusable design systems, UI components, and front-end patterns.

- Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into product improvements.

- Ensure designs meet standards for accessibility, responsiveness, usability, and performance.

- Use AI-powered design and development tools to improve design exploration, prototyping, and development efficiency.

- Stay updated with emerging AI UX patterns, design tools, front-end technologies, and interaction trends.

Must-Have Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, UX Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a closely related role.

- Strong combination of UI/UX design + front-end development skills.

- Hands-on experience with Figma and modern prototyping/design tools.

- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with React.js or another modern front-end framework.

- Strong understanding of responsive design, interaction design, usability, and design systems.

- Proven experience working on AI/GenAI-powered products or features.

- Understanding of AI UX concepts such as conversational interfaces, AI copilots, RAG-based experiences, AI agents, prompt-driven workflows, and human-in-the-loop interactions.

- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with LLM/GenAI products, AI agents, RAG, or conversational AI.

- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Figma AI, Cursor, or similar tools.

- Knowledge of design-to-code workflows.

- Experience building or contributing to design systems/component libraries.

- Familiarity with APIs and integrating front-end applications with AI/backend services.

- Experience in a SaaS, startup, product, or technology environment.

- Basic understanding of usability analytics and experimentation/A-B testing.
