UI/UX Developer

Role Overview :

The UI/UX Developer is a senior frontend role requiring 5+ years of frontend development experience with React and mandatory Strong Figma experience. This role is a long-term 2-year contract with extensions, based Remote, focused on delivering high-quality, component-based user interfaces and contributing significantly to the company's Design System practice. The incumbent must be proficient across the full lifecycle of modern frontend development, including structuring, testing, and building/deploying complex, large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

- 5+ years of frontend development experience with React to architect and implement high-quality, reusable UI components.

- Demonstrate expertise in the full lifecycle of modern frontend development, which includes structuring (ES Modules), testing (Vitest/Jest & Mocking/Stubbing), and building/deploying (Vite/Webpack).

- Develop, maintain, and enhance style guides and UI component libraries for worldwide product teams, ensuring consistency and technical excellence.

- Support the Design System practice by contributing to resources, workflows (automated/manual), and documentation, improving engineering efficiency.

- Utilize Strong Figma experience to create prototypes and proof of concepts for rapid ideation, validation, and user testing.

- Apply Strong understanding of mobile-first responsive/adaptive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across all devices.

- Experience implementing Lit Web components (a plus) for broader framework interoperability.

- Apply expertise in software design patterns, library design, REST, and documentation generators (e.g., Storybook, JSDoc).

- Ensure compliance with the company's standards, W3C WCAG accessibility guidelines, and proactively promote emerging industry best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of frontend development experience with React.

- Strong Figma experience.

- Coded large-scale production libraries and/or applications using React.

- Experience with full lifecycle of modern frontend development (ES Modules, Vitest/Jest, Mocking/Stubbing, Vite/Webpack).

- Strong understanding of mobile-first responsive/adaptive design, software design patterns, library design, and REST. Pluses (Preferred Skills)

- Prior work delivering consumer-grade digital product experiences.

- Experience implementing Lit Web components.

- Experience building hybrid (React Native) or multi-platform mobile solutions.

- Experience using Figma Code Connect, Make, and/or MCP.
