UI/UX Developer - Mendix Platform

Job Title : UI/UX Mendix Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Mendix Developer to join our team and take responsibility for designing and implementing user-centric, intuitive, and efficient interfaces using the Mendix low-code platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and hands-on experience building enterprise applications in Mendix.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement engaging, user-friendly interfaces in Mendix.

- Translate business requirements into functional UI/UX designs and flows.

- Customize and style Mendix widgets to align with branding and user needs.

- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and backend developers to create a seamless user experience.

- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to continuously improve the application interface.

- Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.

- Maintain design consistency across applications following design system or UI guidelines.

- Stay updated with UI/UX trends and Mendix platform updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design and development.

- 4+ years of experience developing applications with the Mendix platform.

- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

- Experience customizing Mendix themes and using Atlas UI.

- Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies and agile development.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Mendix Intermediate or Advanced Developer Certification.

- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.

- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimization.

- Background in graphic design or digital product design is a plus.
