Job Description: UI/UX Designer - Mutual Fund & BFSI Digital Interfaces

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer responsible for crafting intuitive, modern, and high impact user interfaces across Mobile Apps (iOS & Android), Mobile Web, and Desktop Web for our Mutual Fund and Digital Investment platforms.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the BFSI ecosystem, especially Mutual Fund customer behavior, with the ability to build digital experiences that align with evolving expectations shaped by leading FinTechs, Broking platforms, and Wealth-tech apps.

The role requires mastery in Figma, understanding of AI-enabled design tools, and capability to create prototypes, AB test variants, and research-backed UX flows.

Key Responsibilities :

User Interface (UI) Design :

- Drive UI development for mobile apps, responsive mobile web, and full-scale web portals.

- Build scalable design systems tailored for Mutual Fund and BFSI customer journeys.

- Create wireframes, high-fidelity screens, iconography, and interaction components.

- Apply Apple HIG and Android Material Design principles.

User Experience (UX) Development :

- Design intuitive flows based on customer insights and product objectives.

- Develop personas, journey maps, and interactive prototypes.

- Apply certified UX techniques to meet new-age customer UI/UX expectations.

- Benchmark consistently with top FinTech and BFSI digital platforms.

AI Enabled Design :

- Use AI tools for component generation, auto-layout suggestions, and design accelerations.

- Implement AI-driven user research, behavior analysis, and design predictions.

Prototyping, A/B Testing & User Research :

- Build interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder demonstrations.

- Develop multiple variants for A/B testing and measure performance through UX metrics.

- Conduct user testing sessions, capture insights, and refine designs accordingly.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Work with Product Owners, Engineering, Digital Business, Data, and Marketing teams.

- Translate business needs into design-led solutions.

- Ensure designs are implementation-ready and technically feasible.

Continuous Trend Monitoring :

- Stay updated on global UI/UX trends, behavioral design patterns, and digital finance interfaces.

- Continuously study user behavior shifts and update design methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4-5 years of experience in UI/UX design for BFSI, FinTech, Mutual Funds, or Broking.

- Advanced expertise in Figma (Auto-layout, prototyping, variables, design system creation).

- Certified UX training (HFI, Google UX, NN/g, DesignLab, or equivalent).

- Strong portfolio covering mobile and web application design.

- Experience with AI-enabled design tools (e.g., Uizard, Galileo AI, Midjourney for UI ideation).

- Ability to create A/B test variations and prototypes.

- Solid understanding of modern design trends, responsive design, and accessibility.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Wealth-tech, Broking, Investment apps, or Mutual Fund platforms.

- Working knowledge of analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or Clevertap.

- Exposure to agile product development and sprint planning.
