UI/UX Designer (Web & Mobile)

Role Overview :

The UI/UX Designer is a creative and detail-oriented role requiring 3-4 years of experience focused on designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications.

Located in Coimbatore (with preference for Tamil Nadu candidates), this is a Contract Role where the incumbent will apply hands-on expertise in the entire design process, from concept to final visual specifications.

The role requires proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and translating complex requirements into simple, effective user interfaces.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a creative UI/UX Designer (3-4 years experience) for a contract role in Coimbatore to design and deliver intuitive user experiences for web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will possess mandatory hands-on experience in wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and creating visual design specifications.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with product and development teams, conducting user research, ensuring design consistency across platforms, and rapidly iterating on design solutions to enhance user satisfaction and usability.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

User Experience (UX) Design and Research :

- Demonstrate hands-on experience in wireframing (low-fidelity and high-fidelity) to define the structure and flow of applications.

- Conduct basic user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement in the user experience.

- Create user flows, journey maps, and information architecture diagrams to illustrate and optimize user interaction paths.

- Ensure the creation of intuitive user experiences that are accessible and efficient for target users across various devices.

User Interface (UI) Design and Prototyping :

- Design visually appealing and consistent User Interfaces (UI) for both web and mobile applications, adhering to established design systems and brand guidelines.

- Utilize modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for creating pixel-perfect visuals and mockups.

- Possess hands-on experience in prototyping tools to create interactive models for usability testing and stakeholder sign-off.

- Create detailed visual specifications and design assets for hand-off to the development team, ensuring seamless implementation.

Collaboration and Iteration :

- Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional development teams (Front-End Developers) to ensure technical feasibility and design integrity during implementation.

- Participate actively in Agile sprints, rapidly iterating on designs based on technical constraints and user testing feedback.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 3-4 Years of relevant experience.

Core Skills : Hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, and creating intuitive user experiences for web and mobile applications.

Tools : Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

Focus : Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.

Preferred Skills :

- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects, including process documentation.

- Familiarity with design systems methodology (e.g., Atomic Design).

- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand implementation constraints.
