Job Description

Job Role : UI Test Automation Engineer

Experience : 3 to 7 Years

Location : Bangalore

We are looking for a UI Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and strong programming skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web-based applications, as well as collaborating with Agile teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain UI test automation frameworks using tools like Cypress or Selenium.

- Develop automation scripts for web applications using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST.

- Work with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or TestNG.

- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility in automated tests.

- Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in Scrum ceremonies.

- Support manual testing activities using tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA (minimum 3 years).

- Contribute to CI/CD processes and integration of automated tests in pipelines.

- Track defects and work with development teams for timely resolution.

- Knowledge of API, protocol, or performance testing is a plus.

Key Skills :

- UI test automation using Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent

- Strong programming in Java, JavaScript, or Python

- API testing using Postman or REST tools

- BDD frameworks like Cucumber or TestNG

- Manual testing experience (Azure DevOps, JIRA)

- Cross-browser and cross-platform testing

- Agile methodologies and Scrum process

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking tools

- Bonus : Experience in performance testing or protocol testing

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
