Job Summary :


We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused UI Support Engineer to support the adoption and integration of our Ethos Design System (EDS) web components across multiple product teams. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of modern web technologies who enjoys troubleshooting, resolving issues, and working closely with developers and designers to ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :


- Act as the first line of support for teams integrating EDS web components into applications built with Angular, React, Vue, and TypeScript.


- Triage, investigate, and resolve defects, integration issues, and runtime bugs reported by internal product teams.

- Collaborate with core EDS developers to escalate and track complex issues requiring component-level changes.

- Provide real-time debugging support and guidance on best practices for using EDS components.

- Ensure components are used in compliance with accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), i18n, multi-lingual, and RTL standards.

- Assist teams in prototyping integration scenarios using StackBlitz to reproduce issues or

demonstrate solutions.

- Monitor and maintain code quality and security using tools like Sonar, and ensure adherence

to secure coding practices.

- Support performance troubleshooting and optimization of component usage in consuming

applications.

- Collaborate with UX and design teams to ensure accurate implementation of Figma-based

designs.

- Document common issues, solutions, and integration patterns to improve self-service support and onboarding.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

- Experience with Lit or other web component libraries is a plus.

- Familiarity with Angular, React, and Vue integration patterns.

- Hands-on experience with debugging tools, browser dev tools, and performance profiling.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards, i18n, and RTL support.

- Experience using StackBlitz for rapid prototyping and issue reproduction.

- Familiarity with Sonar or similar tools for code quality and security analysis.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-first mindset.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple support requests.


Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in a support engineering, developer advocacy, or technical consulting role.

- Exposure to Playwright, viTest, or other testing frameworks is a plus.

- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.

- Experience working with or supporting a design system in a large-scale enterprise

environment
