We are hiring a UI Spartacus Consultant for one of our clients' MNCs.

Exp : 5+ years(including 2+ years in Spartacus)

Location : Bangalore

Job Type : 6 months contract + ext .Shift : 3PM-12AM IST.

Role Summary :

Act as the UI/Frontend lead for SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) using Spartacus, designing and implementing responsive, modular, high-performance storefronts. Youll own architecture, code quality, and integration, while mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Spartacus UI Development & Architecture :

- Lead development of custom Spartacus storefront features and components (Angular/TypeScript).

- Design modular, reusable, and scalable UI components.

- Architect the front-end using modern best practices (lazy loading, code splitting, SSR/PWA).

- Frontend Code Quality & Optimization

- Enforce clean, maintainable, well-tested code (unit, integration, E2E).

- Optimize performance, accessibility (WCAG AA), and cross-browser/device compatibility.

UX/UI Collaboration :

- Work with UX/design teams (e.g., Figma, Sketch) to translate mockups into polished UI.

- Ensure responsive, SEO-friendly interfaces with great UX.

API & Backend Integration :

- Integrate frontend with SAP Commerce Cloud backend via REST/GraphQL APIs.

- Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless data flow and CMS integration (SmartEdit/CMS).

Technical Leadership & Mentoring :

- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to frontend developers.

- Lead code reviews, ensure adherence to standards, and reduce technical debt.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and upskill team members.

Agile & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

- Collaborate with product owners, BAs, QA, DevOps to manage backlog and deliver features on time.

- Act as the UI technical liaison for stakeholdersproviding status, risks, and recommendations.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Stay updated on Spartacus/SAP Commerce updates, Angular, and frontend trends.

- Propose new tools, libraries, or architectures to enhance development workflows.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong Spartacus Expertise : 27+ years implementing Spartacus storefronts (versions 3.x6.x).

- Frontend Mastery : Angular (8+, preferably 15+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS/SASS, RxJS

- Performance & Accessibility : Proven experience in code-splitting, lazy loading, SEO, WCAG AA compliance

- API Integration : REST and optionally GraphQL; CMS integrations

- Version Control & CI/CD : Git (GitFlow), JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket; CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins/GitHub Actions etc.

- Agile/Scrum : SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban experience

- Cross-Functional Communication : Demonstrated experience working with backend developers, QA, UX designers, and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Commerce Cloud knowledge (Hybris modules, SmartEdit, Commerce Backoffice).

- Experience in both B2C and B2B storefronts.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and PWA/SSR setups .

- Exposure to GraphQL, Jest, Cypress, Node.js, NoSQL, mentoring junior staff .

- Prior experience in eCommerce, consumer electronics, or regulated industries.
