Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient UI/Frontend Lead to spearhead the development of our next-generation web applications.

This role requires a blend of hands-on coding expertise, architectural design skills, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the frontend technical strategy, ensuring code quality, and driving best practices for performance, usability, and accessibility across all web properties.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the frontend technology roadmap and architectural vision for all web applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high performance.

- Design and lead the implementation of complex, large-scale UI components and reusable frontend architecture, potentially using a Micro-Frontend approach.

- Own the selection and management of the core frontend stack (libraries, frameworks, build tools), advocating for modern, effective, and efficient solutions.

- Establish and enforce standards for web performance (load times, rendering, responsiveness) and SEO-friendly rendering techniques.

- Spend a significant portion of time actively writing clean, well-documented, and highly performant code for core application features.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor team members on coding best practices, and enforce strict coding standards, design patterns, and testing methodologies (e.g., unit, integration, E2E tests).

- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and design systems (e.g., in Figma/Sketch) into pixel-perfect, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces.

- Mentor and guide mid-level and junior frontend developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and accountability.

- Collaborate effectively with Backend Engineers to define API contracts (REST/GraphQL), ensure efficient data exchange, and manage integration complexities.

- Assist Product Management and Project Managers in estimating work, breaking down epics into actionable tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of features.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

Essential Technical Skills :

- Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React.js is highly preferred; experience with Vue.js or Angular is a plus).

- Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors (Sass/Less), including an understanding of modern CSS concepts like CSS-in-JS, CSS Grid, and Flexbox.

- Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale, reusable UI Component Libraries or Design Systems.

- Strong understanding of client-side state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, MobX).

- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

- Solid understanding of browser rendering behavior, performance tuning, and optimization tools
