UI Developer - HTML/CSS3

XHTML Developer

Overview :

The User Interface Developer will translate the designs created by the user experience designer into technical components through HTML/XHTML.

Working with the software engineers, these components will become part of the overall application

Responsibilities :

- Participate and assist in software analysis and design

- Write unit test cases

- Adhere to best practices and coding standards

- Conduct unit testing

- Participate and assist team leader in Integration

- Adhere to defined software processes

- Understand steps to reproduce bugs (QA Interaction)

Experience/Skills :

- 2+ years of experience of having worked on XHTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and W3C DOM.

- Basic Knowledge of Photoshop

- Work closely with the design, product and engineering teams to deliver an excellent user experience the company

- Should be able to create Tabeless structures.

Requirements :

- Strong business communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

- Experience implementing standards-based web application user interfaces like Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(AAA), Section 508 Compliance, Disability Discrimination Act Compliance, Screen Reader Compatibility

- Ability to cleanly implement a UI across different browsers (IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Safari,Opera Netscape) and on different platforms

- Demonstrated understanding of how implementation choices impact user experience in terms of browser compatibility, accessibility and performance

- Experience integrating rich web interfaces with server-side code

- Experience in UI design and engineering of content-based applications such as blogs, photo albums, email, content management systems, etc.

- Experience integrating XHTML in languages such as PHP

- Experience with XML, Web Services, and Internationalization
