About the Role :


We are seeking a creative and strategic UI Designer who is passionate about delivering aesthetically pleasing and user-centered experiences. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and elevating the design language across all digital consumer touchpoints of our D2C eCommerce platform (web + mobile).


Youll serve as the visual brand guardian, ensuring consistency in design, usability, and conversion performance, while leading a team of designers to continuously optimize and innovate the user journey.


Key Responsibilities :


- Own and evolve the UI and visual aesthetics of the companys eCommerce website and mobile app.


- Ensure consistency in design language across all landing pages, sales funnels, and digital consumer touchpoints.


- Be the brand guardian for the visual identity of the platform, ensuring adherence to Ayurvedic brand values and ethos.


- Lead and manage a team of UI and graphic designers to create high-converting, visually appealing landing pages.


- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure designs are optimized for conversion (CRO).


- Build product launch pages using plug-and-play landing page builders (Shopify-based).


- Work within the limitations of third-party apps and plugins while ideating innovative design solutions.


- Analyze user behavior and translate insights into actionable UI/UX design decisions.


Skills Required :


- Proficiency in Design Tools : Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop.


- UI Design Expertise : Strong understanding of UI principles, responsive design, and mobile-first design approaches.


- Experience with eCommerce Platforms : Preferably Shopify and knowledge of its theme and landing page builders (e.g., Shogun, PageFly, GemPages).


- CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) : Understanding of A/B testing, heatmaps, user flow analysis, and behavioral analytics tools (Hotjar, Google Analytics).


- Leadership & Collaboration : Experience in leading a design team and working cross-functionally with marketers, copywriters, and developers.


- Typography, Layout & Color Theory : Strong grasp of visual design principles and brand consistency.


- Consumer Psychology & UX Thinking : Ability to design based on user motivations, decision-making patterns, and behavior.


- Communication Skills : Excellent command over English; ability to transform brand copy and marketing content into compelling design.


- Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.


Preferred Background :


- 4+ years of hands-on design experience in UI/UX or branding roles.


- Masters or Bachelor's Degree from top design institutes such as NID, Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, or equivalent.


- Prior experience working in D2C, eCommerce, or digital product companies.
