About the Company :

Madox is looking for an experienced UI Automation Engineer to join its Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UI test automation using Playwright and C#, along with JavaScript proficiency and basic Python knowledge. This role is suitable for a highly skilled individual contributor or a senior professional capable of providing technical leadership and mentoring within the automation team.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.

- Enhance automation coverage and optimize existing test suites.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to automation best practices.

- Support CI/CD pipeline integration and automated test execution.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance where required.

- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation metrics.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 6 to 7.5 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of relevant UI Automation experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework.

- Proficiency in C# and JavaScript.

- Basic working knowledge of Python.

- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile development environments.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC) or Senior Automation Engineer.
