Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced UI Architect to design, build, and optimize modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

The role demands deep expertise in frontend architecture, React ecosystem, performance optimization, accessibility, and design systems, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop scalable, high-performance UI applications using modern frontend technologies.

- Define and enforce UI architecture standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.

- Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.

- Drive performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices.

- Mentor frontend engineers and review code for quality, scalability, and maintainability.

- Lead initiatives around design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI frameworks.

Required Technical Skills :

Frontend & UI Technologies :

- HTML5, CSS3 (Less, Sass; Tailwind is a plus).

- Strong expertise in BEM methodology.

- JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, JS object model.

- Deep hands-on experience with ReactJS (mandatory).

- Knowledge of JavaScript design patterns.

UI Architecture & Design :

- Experience with Design Systems and Atomic Design principles.

- Strong understanding of UI integration patterns.

- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures.

Performance, Accessibility & Security :

- Hands-on experience with Web Accessibility (WCAG).

- Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and Google Lighthouse (GLHS).

- Expertise in web performance optimization techniques.

- Awareness of OWASP security best practices.

APIs & Integration :

- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Build, Tooling & DevOps :

- Strong knowledge of Node.js & npm.

- Experience with build tools : Webpack, Grunt, Gulp.

- Familiarity with Babel, NPM, modern frontend build pipelines.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment workflows.

- Proficiency with Git (SVN/Mercurial is a plus).

Testing & Quality :

- Experience with testing frameworks : Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Playwright (plus).

- Strong understanding of unit testing best practices.

Advanced / Nice to Have :

- Experience building Progressive Web Applications (PWA).

- Experience developing frontend solutions for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
