Job Title : Unified Functional Testing (UFT) Automation Engineer

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced UFT Automation Engineer with strong expertise in VBScript to join our QA team in Hyderabad.

The candidate will be responsible for automating functional and regression test cases and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Exp : 4 to 15 years

Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and VBScript

- Analyze business and functional requirements to create automation test scenarios

- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid)

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results

- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing

- Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools

- Collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business analysts

- Prepare test execution reports and provide regular status updates

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing

- Strong hands-on experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing)

- Proficiency in VBScript

- Experience in automating Web and Desktop applications

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

- Experience with test management tools like HP ALM / Quality Center

- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
