About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to identify issues, validate features, and deliver high-quality software.

What You'll Do :

- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.

- Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and ensure quality releases.

- Perform database validation using SQL queries.

- Participate in release testing and regression cycles.

- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and QA metrics.

- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automation coverage.

- Troubleshoot issues and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1 - 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.

- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.

- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

- Experience with Jira and test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of defect lifecycle and QA processes.

Good to Have :

- Experience testing SaaS, e-commerce, food-tech, POS, payment, or customer-facing applications.

- Exposure to both web and mobile application testing.

- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.

- Exposure to performance and security testing.

- Experience with automation framework design and maintenance.
