Description:

We are looking for a strong UAT / Functional Test Lead with extensive manual testing and UAT ownership experience on large enterprise, e-Governance, or public sector projects. The candidate must have hands-on experience in end-to-end UAT execution, stakeholder coordination, and leading medium-sized QA/UAT teams.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead end-to-end UAT activities, including :

- UAT strategy and planning

- Test scenario and test case preparation reminding business requirements

- UAT execution and coordination with business stakeholders

- Defect management, retesting, and regression cycles

- Final UAT sign-off and closure reports

2. Work closely with business users, product owners, and development teams to ensure business acceptance of delivered features.

3. Analyze BRDs, FRDs, user stories, functional specs, and Figma/UI screens to derive comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

5. Perform manual API testing by understanding HLD/LLD documents and API specifications and validating business logic and data flow.

6. Lead and manage a team of 78 QA/UAT members, including :

- Task allocation and planning

- Daily tracking and reporting

- Review of test cases and execution

- Mentoring and performance guidance

- Delivery ownership

7. Drive UAT for multiple releases and regression cycles in large-scale applications.

8. Prepare and present UAT status reports, defect metrics, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.

Mandatory Experience & Skills :

Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3+ years of recent UAT experience

- Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects

- Minimum 3+ years of team handling experience, leading teams of 78 QA/UAT resources

- Strong experience in manual testing only for UAT-focused roles

Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in manual functional and UAT testing

- Ability to create test scenarios and test cases from :

1. BRDs / FRDs

2. User stories

3. Functional documents

4. UI/Figma screens

- Ability to understand HLD/LLD and API specifications and perform manual API testing

- Strong defect tracking and management skills (JIRA or equivalent tools)

- Excellent communication skills to interact with business and senior stakeholders
