Role Summary :

The Senior Software Engineer - Web at Tyfone is a core engineering role focused on architecting the frontend infrastructure for a leading-edge digital banking platform. You will be responsible for building high-performance, responsive interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience across a wide array of browsers, mobile devices, and platforms. This role requires a mastery of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, coupled with advanced HTML5 and CSS3/SASS skills. You will participate in the full product lifecycle-from analysis and design to implementation and QA-ensuring that Tyfone's digital banking solutions are secure, scalable, and intuitive. As a senior member of the product team, you will also mentor junior engineers and oversee team activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities :

- Frontend Infrastructure Engineering : Design and architect robust, reusable frontend components and infrastructure that serve as the foundation for Tyfone's web and mobile applications.

- Responsive UI Development : Build sophisticated, fluid interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and SASS that adapt seamlessly to diverse screen sizes and resolutions.

- Modern Framework Implementation : Develop complex application logic using React and TypeScript, ensuring efficient state management and component lifecycles.

- Cross-Browser Engineering : Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex cross-browser compatibility issues and performance bottlenecks across various rendering engines.

- Technical Mentorship : Lead and mentor team members, conducting code reviews and providing guidance on frontend best practices and design patterns.

- Lifecycle Participation : Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architectural design, coding, and quality assurance.

- Hybrid Application Support : Leverage frameworks like Ionic or Bootstrap to bridge the gap between web and mobile experiences, ensuring feature parity and consistent styling.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize frontend assets and code for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility in a high-security digital banking environment.

- Project Management : Manage team activities and sprint tasks to ensure milestones are met without compromising code quality.

Technical Requirements :

- Core Experience : 3-5 years of professional software development experience, with a heavy emphasis on modern frontend technologies.

- Programming Mastery : Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and functional paradigms.

- Styling Expertise : Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS, including CSS Grid, Flexbox, and advanced animation techniques.

- Framework Proficiency : Extensive hands-on experience with React; familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap or Ionic.

- Responsive Design : Proven track record of building complex responsive interfaces that function flawlessly on mobile, tablet, and desktop.

- Tooling : Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), version control (Git), and package managers (NPM/Yarn).

- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
