TVS Next - Senior Snowflake Developer - ETL/Data Warehousing

What youll do :

- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake databases and data warehouse solutions.

- Build and optimize SQL queries for data processing and reporting.

- Experience with Snowflake tools such as Snowpipe, Time Travel, and Cloning.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data models and pipelines.

- Ensure data security, quality, and compliance in Snowflake environments.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake and SQL systems for performance issues.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize the scope of enhancements and development projects, gather detailed requirements

- Provide expertise as a technical resource to solve complex business issues that translate into data integration and database systems designs

- Migrate and modernize existing legacy ETL jobs for Snowflake, ensure data integrity and optimal performance

- Develop and implement a configuration-driven Data Ingestion framework that enables efficient onboarding of new source tables

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and solution architects, to align data engineering initiatives with business goals

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance data engineering processes, tools, and frameworks

- Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and privacy standards across all data engineering activities

What we seek in you :

- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience

- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Expertise in Snowflake DB and its various architecture principles, capabilities

- Experience with data warehousing, data architecture, ETL data pipeline and/or data engineering environments at enterprise scale that are built on Snowflake

- Ability to create Strong SQL Procedures in Snowflake, Build a Data Pipeline efficiently in a cost-optimizing & performance efficient way

- Strong experience with AWS Cloud

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - Git, Mercurial, SVN

- Knowledge of SDLC, Testing & CI/CD aspects such as Jenkins, JIRA
