Job Title : Switching / System Integration (SI) Engineer - CS Core (Telecom)

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Switching / System Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in Mobile Switching and CS Core integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployment, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of CS Core network elements in live telecom networks. This role requires in-depth knowledge of telecom protocols, network elements, and cloud-based deployment environments.

The position offers exposure to global deployments and the opportunity to work with advanced telecom technologies in CNF / Telco Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Switching & CS Core Integration :

- Deploy, configure, and integrate Mobile Switching Centers (MSC), HLR/HSS, MSS, MGW, MGCF, and other CS Core network elements.

- Ensure seamless integration of CS Core components with other network elements and services.

- Conduct on-field implementations in live networks, including global deployments.

Network Protocol Expertise :

- Work with telecom signaling and protocols such as :

1. SS7, SCCP

2. SIP, GCP

3. Diameter, TCP/IP

- Perform protocol-level troubleshooting to resolve network and service issues.

Cloud & Virtualization Environment :

- Deploy and manage network functions in CNF / Telco Cloud environments.

- Work with OpenStack, VMware, or KVM for deployment and orchestration of network elements.

- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based network deployments.

Implementation & Troubleshooting :

- Act as the key point of contact for live network integrations.

- Identify and resolve deployment, configuration, and integration issues.

- Collaborate with operations, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure smooth rollouts.

- Document implementation procedures and configurations for operational reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience in Mobile Switching & CS Core network integration.

- Strong knowledge of MSC, HLR/HSS, MSS, MGW, MGCF deployment and configuration.

- Expertise in telco signaling protocols : SS7, SCCP, SIP, GCP, Diameter, TCP/IP.

- Experience with CNF, Telco Cloud, OpenStack, VMware/KVM environments.

- Proven ability to work on live telecom networks with global deployments.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Implementation-focused experience no core testing or test case writing profiles.
