Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in UFT and Perfecto to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. The role involves close collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable software releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT and Perfecto.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to gather test requirements and create detailed test plans.

- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate software quality.

- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing automation frameworks and test scripts.

- Ensure test coverage across web, mobile, and cross-browser platforms (as applicable).

- Document and report testing activities, execution results, and quality metrics.

- Ensure adherence to testing best practices, industry standards, and organizational QA processes.

Required Experience & Skills :

- 4 - 7 years of experience in automation testing.

- Strong hands-on expertise in UFT and Perfecto tools.

- Experience in test script development, execution, and maintenance.

- Hands-on experience with ALM / Quality Center or similar test management tools.

- Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work effectively in Agile / DevOps environments.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD integration for automated tests.

- Exposure to API testing or performance testing tools.

- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
