TrueSight Administrator - Solaris

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform installation and configuration of Patrol Agents on various operating systems (Windows, RHEL, AIX, Solaris).

- Work with knowledge modules (KMs) such as Database, WebSphere, Exchange, Sentry Hardware, Sentry Monitoring Studio, OS, LOG, and URL.

- Support development and maintenance of custom KMs as needed.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Patrol Agent and TrueSight server component issues.

- Administer and configure Event Management policies for proactive monitoring and alerting.

- Work with MRLs (Management Rules Language) and custom classes for advanced monitoring

use cases.

- Understand and support data center IT infrastructure components including Unix, Windows

OS, and virtualization technologies.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of monitoring solutions.

- Proven experience with Patrol Agents deployment on multi-OS platforms (Windows, RHEL,

AIX, Solaris).

- Hands-on experience with knowledge modules (DB, WebSphere, Exchange, Sentry, OS, LOG,

URL).

- Ability to work with and customize KMs.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving monitoring-related issues.

- Proficiency in Event Management policy administration and configuration.

- Knowledge of MRLs, custom classes, and monitoring rules.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (Unix, Windows, virtualization).

Good to Have :

- TrueSight certification (preferred).

- Strong problem analysis and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate business impact during

incidents.
