We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and operate in a way that powers our avatars in production.

You'll have significant ownership over architecture, product decisions, backend systems, AI integrations, and platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

Build & Scale Core Backend Systems :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

- Build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling large-scale AI workloads.

- Architect systems that are reliable, fault-tolerant, and highly available.

Ownership & Technical Leadership :

- Drive architecture and engineering decisions.

- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and review processes.

- Mentor future engineering hires and help shape the company's technical culture.

Scaling & Performance :

- Optimize APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

- Ensure platform scalability, security, and reliability.

- Build monitoring, observability, and alerting systems.

- Excited about building products from zero rather than maintaining legacy systems.

- Passionate about AI and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering

- Experience with SaaS architectures.
