Job Description

Title : FIS Profile Developer (PSL/MUMPS, AWS/Linux)

Location : Remote (India)


Experience : Minimum 7+ Years


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements in the FIS Profile Core Product.

- Understand business requirements, read existing FIS Profile configurations, and perform custom development.

- Create new code using FIS Profile Scripting language (PSL) and modify or build new custom procedures.

- Access core FIS code through GT.M database and execute various commands for view, edit, and delete functions.

- Interact with product managers, users, and engineering groups to define requirements and technical specifications.

- Guide FIS solution implementation and participate in software design meetings.

- Coordinate and manage overall delivery working with different teams (Business, QA, PM, etc.).

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FIS Profile Tool and core banking platform.

- Proficiency in MUMPS/PSL programming language.

- Experience with FIS Database (MUMPS) and GT.M database setup.


Qualifications Required :


- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 6+ years programming experience in Profile/PSL.

- Our banking core stack is Profile/PSL, GT.M/MUMPS, C, Python, Linux on AWS infrastructure and we run on Kubernetes in a service oriented architecture with over 100 services in production.

- A proven understanding of hierarchical database and their structures (GT.M).

- Strong US banking domain expertise on areas such as product customizations, account relationships, ACH, debit card processing, regulations and compliance.

- Experience working on a SOA or integrating to a microservice-based application.

- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done.

- Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion.

- Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture.

- Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews.
