Trimble - Application Support Engineer

Description :

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Application Support Engineer to join our growing IT support team.

The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support for ERP users, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure business continuity by maintaining seamless ERP operations.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a good foundation in SQL and cloud technologies (preferably Azure).

Key Responsibilities :

- Respond to user queries related to the ERP system and provide timely resolution.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate ERP-related issues effectively.

- Perform root cause analysis and ensure long-term solutions for recurring issues.

- Write and execute basic SQL queries to investigate and resolve data-related issues.

- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve support tickets.

- Communicate effectively with end-users, customers, and stakeholders to understand issues and convey solutions.

- Document common issues, fixes, and standard operating procedures for internal knowledge base.

- Support system testing, upgrades, and patches as required.

- Help monitor system performance and user feedback to improve ERP operations.

- Assist with cloud-based ERP integrations and understand Azure-based service configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1 to 2 years relevant working experience of SQL ability to write and debug basic queries.

- Basic understanding of cloud technologies, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.

- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

- Solid troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and customers with professionalism and empathy.

- Capable of working under stressful or high-pressure environments while maintaining quality service.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Internship or coursework related to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Salesforce).
