We build powerful analytics in the US and Indian stock market space that are best in class. Organic growth in B2B and B2C products have already made the company profitable. We deliver 1 billion+ APIs every month to B2B customers, and have a B2C website and app.

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer/SDET with strong hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, API, and Backend testing. The candidate should be comfortable with test automation, framework development, debugging, and working closely with engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements and define test strategy, scenarios, and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across Web, Mobile, API, and Backend.

- Automate critical user journeys using Playwright/Selenium.

- Perform Android/iOS testing across devices, OS versions, network conditions, permissions, notifications, and deep links.

- Develop and maintain mobile automation using Appium or equivalent.

- Perform API testing and automation; validate responses, authentication, errors, and backend integrations.

- Validate database changes and data consistency using SQL.

- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.

- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test failures/flakiness.

- Manage defects, participate in triage, and work with developers for resolution.

- Review automation/test cases and contribute to QA best practices and mentoring.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in QA/SDET/Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS applications. Test across different screen sizes, OS versions, and devices.

- Strong experience with Playwright/Selenium and Appium.

- Hands-on API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.

- Good programming skills in JavaScript, or Python.

- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

- Experience with automation frameworks, Git, CI/CD, JIRA, and SQL.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP status codes, authentication/authorization, and JSON.

- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Good to Have

- Experience with microservices/distributed systems.

- Accessibility or performance testing experience.

- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers or owning QA for a project/feature.
