Java Technical Architect

Experience : 8-12yrs

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Work with SQL databases for schema design, query optimizatiaon, stored procedures, and data integration.

- Develop solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or similar technologies.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, QA, and business stakeholders.

- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java (8/11/17+)

- Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security

- Experience in building Microservices Architecture

- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server

- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.

- Good understanding of multithreading, collections, JVM tuning, and performance optimization

- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle

- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI

- Understanding of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes is preferred

Optional / Nice to Have :

- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, MapReduce)

- Exposure to Distributed Computing Systems

- Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures

- Cloud experience on AWS / Azure / GCP

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
