Role Overview :

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing a customized ERP ecosystem using low-code and no-code platforms, primarily the Zoho One suite.

This role requires deep technical expertise in Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, API integrations, and web technologies, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise business processes.

The ERP Developer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing ERP solutions that streamline operations, improve data visibility, and enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Process Analysis & Requirements Engineering :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing workflows, operational challenges, and system dependencies.

- Map end-to-end business processes, identifying inputs, outputs, system touchpoints, automation opportunities, and data flows.

- Conduct detailed requirement gathering, functional analysis, and gap assessments to align ERP capabilities with organizational goals.

ERP Solution Design & Architecture :

- Design a modular, scalable, and customizable ERP architecture using Zoho Creator and Zoho One applications.

- Define ERP modules covering finance, sales, procurement, inventory, customer support, operations, and reporting.

- Apply ERP best practices, data modeling principles, and UI/UX standards to ensure system efficiency and usability.

Development & Customization :

- Develop and customize ERP applications using Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, and Zoho Widgets.

- Build advanced workflows, automations, approval mechanisms, validation rules, and role-based access controls.

- Develop and extend ERP functionalities using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, PHP, and SQL where required.

- Customize Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Desk, and other Zoho applications to meet business-specific requirements.

Integration & API Management :

- Design and implement integrations between Zoho applications and third-party systems using REST APIs and webhooks.

- Ensure secure data exchange, synchronization, and consistency across integrated systems.

- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot API performance, error handling, and data integrity issues.

Reporting, Analytics & Dashboards :

- Design and develop real-time reports, KPIs, and dashboards using Zoho Analytics.

- Enable data-driven insights through customized analytics tailored to different business roles and leadership needs.

- Optimize data pipelines and reporting performance for scalability and accuracy.

Testing, Deployment & Support :

- Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure functional accuracy and reliability.

- Deploy ERP solutions to production environments while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues across the Zoho ecosystem.

User Enablement & Change Management :

- Provide hands-on training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.

- Assist stakeholders during system adoption, upgrades, and process changes.

- Manage change requests and enhancements while maintaining system stability.

Continuous Improvement & Documentation :

- Continuously monitor ERP performance and recommend enhancements aligned with evolving business needs.

- Implement system optimizations, new features, and automation improvements.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, process flows, configuration guides, and customization records.

Technical Skills & Competencies :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Deluge scripting and Zoho Creator development

- Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Desk, Zoho Analytics

- API integration experience using REST APIs and webhooks

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, PHP, and SQL

- Experience with Zoho Widget development

Qualification & Experience

- Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or BE/B.

- Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ERP development and Zoho-based implementations
