Responsibilities :

The Application Architect is responsible for the design and overseeing the technical implementation of applications built on TraceLinks Opus Multi-Enterprise cloud-based platform.

You will :

- Be a thought leader on architecture and design of cloud-based applications that provide mission-critical functionality and support high transaction volume

- Become a subject matter expert on how to build applications on TraceLinks Opus cloud-based fully distributed architecture

- Work collaboratively with product management to gain deep insight into business application requirements

- Provide high-level analysis and write high level designs to apply appropriate Opus Platform technologies to solve business problems; ensure design, structure, and content meet performance guidelines

- Drive application design emphasizing reliability, scalability, maintainability, and other key ilities to deliver resilient and future-ready systems

- Identify Opus technology/architectural gaps between application needs and platform capability.

- Work closely with Platform Architects and senior technical leadership to address the gaps

- Prototype and in some cases implement the underlying code to advance application functionality in advance of or coordination with the development teams

- Be a role model and mentor for less senior technical contributors.

Skills and Requirements :

Candidates must possess the following skills and traits :

- 10+ years software development experience.

- Strong experience in software development in Java.

- Strong experience in building sophisticated microservice-based applications.

- 3+ years hands-on experience in an architect role employing a variety of technologies.

- 2+ years experience as a technical lead.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and collaborate with other disciplines.

- Solid technical writing skills.

- Experience working on enterprise business applications.

- Experience in building cloud-based applications on platforms such as Amazon Web Services.

- Tech/B.

- Experience and interest in working in fast-paced environments.

Helpful skills and experience :

- Experience developing a product in an Agile development environment.

- Experience in developing Enterprise Software (e.Supply Chain, ERP, Manufacturing).
