TPF Developer - Mainframe/SPM

- Job Locations : Bengaluru / Greater Noida.

- Experience 3 to 7 years.

Description :

- Minimum 3 years of technical experience.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on programming experience in the TPF & zTPF development.

- Expertise in zTPF, Assembler, TPFC,TPFDF & SPMs.

- Expertise in development & CI tools.

- Solid mainframe & TPF environment knowledge.

- Provides on-call coverage following implementation, including warranty support.

- Designing, coding, debugging & testing.

- Troubleshooting issues in test and production environments.

- Learning business requirements and translating them into implementation details.

- Assist in the development of software technical documentation.

- Cooperating with other development teams to deliver new capabilities.

- Innovating to improve application stability and performance.

- Supports Technical Product Manager in preparation of requirements for each release.

- Airline domain knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Development & Engineering :

- Design & Implementation : Lead the designing, coding, debugging, and testing of complex z/TPF applications.

- Technical Translation : Learn complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical implementation details.

- Performance Optimization : Drive innovation to improve application stability, speed, and overall system performance.

- Documentation : Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive software technical documentation for architecture and code logic.

2. Support & Troubleshooting :

- Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues across both test and production environments.

- Post-Implementation Care : Provide on-call coverage following deployments, including warranty support to ensure system reliability.

3. Collaboration & Strategy :

- Cross-Functional Teamwork : Cooperate with global development teams to deliver new capabilities and integrated features.

- Release Planning : Support the Technical Product Manager in preparing technical requirements and roadmaps for each release cycle.
