TOSCA Developer - Salesforce Testing

Role Overview :

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automation test scripts, ensuring applications meet functional, performance, and quality standards.

This role requires deep technical knowledge of test automation frameworks, Salesforce architecture, and multiple scripting languages.

The candidate will work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to maintain high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation & Testing :

- Execute high and low-level test strategies including test case design, test data management, test execution plans, and defect logging.

- Perform automation of regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce applications.

- Test web services (SOAP/REST) using tools like SOAP UI.

- Leverage scripting languages such as Selenium, RTF, QTP (VB Script), and JavaScript for automation development.

- Validate applications against business and functional requirements, documenting and reporting defects or non-compliance.

SDLC & Quality Assurance :

- Ensure adherence to various SDLC processes, QA standards, and industry best practices.

- Apply RUP testing discipline standards and maintain conformity with test process management tools and guidelines.

- Conduct content testing, administration, and verification of all outputs at various levels of application complexity.

Collaboration & Reporting :

- Review and interpret business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents for testing coverage.

- Provide detailed reports on test results, defect trends, and process improvements.

- Support maintenance and continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing practices.

Technical Leadership :

- Evaluate new automation tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage.

- Maintain comprehensive test documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and process standardization.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in scripting languages : Selenium, RTF, QTP (VB Script), and JavaScript.

- Hands-on experience in Salesforce automation testing and understanding Salesforce architecture.

- Proficient in web service testing using SOAP UI.

- Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.

- Ability to analyze complex applications, integration points, and underlying databases.

- Experience in designing and implementing test strategies, test cases, and test data management.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Familiarity with test process management tools and quality standards compliance
